In bottling the world’s most desirable spirit, we seek balance. On the one hand we are unwavering and integrous, honouring an unrivalled legacy that spans centuries. But we don’t like to mimic, so we’re pushing boundaries and focusing on remarkably rare Cognac, distinctive, refined and very, very old. Each release is unique and unlikely, but every single one has a deep connection to its birthplace, and to the families that have cultivated character, over many generations.

CHAMPAGNE

A true testimony to the art of blending, this release contains Cognacs sourced from three different farms in the Petite Champagne area, each one a different vintage from the ’70s and ’80s.

Although unknown to many, this delightfully niche region is much loved by aficionados who have long revered the quality spirit produced by a handful of small growers.

The magical liquid contained in this bottle is wonderfully distinct, a delicious example of what can be achieved with careful ageing. Fruity, floral, spicy and smooth, it is as forceful as it is elegant, a subtle powerhouse layered with the distinct aromas of this lesser-known location.

FINS BOIS

Of mysterious origins, this Cognac was sourced many years ago from an unknown farm in the South-Charente countryside. The story goes that when the Landier family happened upon it, they were so enamoured with the quality of the eau-de-vie that they purchased it on the spot.

What we do know is that the spirit was distilled in the late ’80s. Wonderfully incongruous, it comes from a tiny village in the largest growing area of the Cognac appellation, Fins Bois.

For over three decades it has absorbed the nuances of a refill French oak cask, resulting in an abundance of tropical fruit flavours, citrus, flowers and spice. It was time well spent, preparing it for its ultimate destiny: the remarkable liquid contained in this bottle.
